Romans 8:11 says, “But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.”  If we are truly filled with the Spirit of God, it will be obvious to those around us.

This past Sunday, Pentecost Sunday, we collectively turned our hearts toward heaven and asked God to send a fresh fire, a fresh wind and a fresh rain!  We believe that, if we’ll surrender to the leading of the Holy Spirit, God will send a fresh manifestation of His Spirit into the local church.

Pastor Jeremy shared a message that detailed the significance of our dependence on the Holy Spirit.  We simply cannot complete the mission we’ve been given without His leadership and His empowerment.  May the prayer of Bridgeford Church of God continue to be, “Lord, let the fires of Pentecost burn again!”
